UNDERSTAND . REIMAGINE . EXECUTE
Hello, I’m Tanner Pelkey. I’m a graduate from ArtCenter College of Design majoring in Transportation Design, with a minor in Business. In addition, I have received a certificate in UI/UX design from UC Berkeley. I have also added real life experiences during my time designing net-zero Hoka cleats, Cadillac iconic interiors and other luxury spaces throughout L.A. properties.
By understanding the project I am able to reimagine the design at hand ultimately giving the clients a custom space. My time at ArtCenter College of Design reinforced the need for a learn, refine and apply skill set. Those skills have now given me a unique advantage along with my tenacious mindset. For those looking for a truly tailored experience When I don’t know how to do something, I take the time to learn how to do it.
My passion for CMF has created a Material-Driven Design thinking that sets me apart. The ability to analyze concepts, research the future impact, create sustainable material options, and apply brand CMF styling all fuel my creativity. I am grateful for the time I spent working in Beverly Hills as it allowed me to create and showcase some truly luxurious interiors.

These Crate&Barrel projects have provided me with “real world” opportunities to learn about the range of user personas with budget restrictions, colour theory, and material preferences while honing my sales skillset.

Adobe Substance workshop
This was a great opportunity to test the new Substance suit taught by Nick Sherman. Adobe came to our studio space and interviewed all of the designers individually about our thoughts on the new Substance suit. We are one of the first University that Adobe taught the Substance programs.
